Richard is actually the husband of a good friend of mine, which is one of the reasons we want to go to Classic as we know he will do a good job!! It's just a matter of price, as it always is...From what I know Classic may be more pricey in the first instance, but the inclusions are usually better so you are saving money in the long run not having to upgrade everything...which we really think is good, and I'm sure most people would too! Small world! Glad I said nice things about him . Actually all the people that we have dealt with at Classics have been great. The owners, Michael and George, are very genuine and this permeates throughout their organisation. fordehouse From what I know Classic may be more pricey in the first instance, but the inclusions are usually better so you are saving money in the long run not having to upgrade everything True. Our first reaction was 'what the ...!' but when we started looking closer and comparing apples to apples they are pretty good. We have used many of their 'standard' inclusions without feeling like we have compromised on quality. Their allowances are also pretty good; we are near the end of our build and have spent less than 10% extra on upgrades yet we have high ceilings, 60sqm solid timber floor, floor to ceiling tiling, double glazing (downstairs), ducted heating, etc. Not bad compared to many others on this forum. BTW, we're not the only ones with a cute DD (just looked at your blog/photobucket) - very pretty! I can recommend some nice shades of pink if you like ... ! Had the chat with Classic yesterday as well and it all went well, just need to cut a room out to keep costs down (which we knew but were in slight denial about!!) Still haven't made any final decisions about them but it was positive. I'm sure my DD would love a pink room! Along with pink everything else! How old is your little one? Kate Re: Enigma's Place 12Feb 08, 2009 9:36 pm ooohhh, she's adorable! Love the pink colour too! Have you got a blog, I'd love to see your colour selections...

How old is your little one? DD is 4 in two weeks. Today was meant to be her first day at pre-school but it wasn't meant to be; she has a gastro bug so, at this stage, we have our fingers crossed for tomorrow. How old is your DD? They might end up as classmates, wouldn't that be funny? Annietom ooohhh, she's adorable! Love the pink colour too! Have you got a blog, I'd love to see your colour selections... Yes, she is (most of the time ), thank you! We don't have a blog but will post some internal photos after we get the keys - hopefully in 3-4 weeks. The external colours are :-
