we have just signed up with Porter Davis to build a Rowland 35, (in the Lifestyle Range). Our 'sales pack' that we were given included a list of bricks that we can choose and their relevant categories. Only Boral bricks were on the list...trouble is, we don't really 'love' any of the bricks. Can we choose something from Austral bricks?? Has anyone recently built a Lifestyle house with PD ... Built in now city 2009, now moving to the country to embark on another build. We asked exactly the same question this to our sales person. They said "due to previous delivery problems with Austral we can only choose from Boral". We were also disappointed with the Boral bricks. Note we cannot choose Boral if we want to either. Boral supply - windows, plasterboard, tiles and bricks - they will have a package deal with PD.
