It amazing what some people will buy- we sold kitchen, bathroom, windows, doors, guttering, cupboards and even the front fence.
Well worth it! anthea Re: Demolishing home - any recomendations? 4Jan 24, 2009 9:46 pm Our home was demolished last October. It's not something I would choose to do myself. 1) I wanted the job done quickly (though it wasn't...), 2) I didn't want to injure myself , 3) Asbestos (say no more).
We stripped as much out of it as we wanted to keep, and let the demolishes sell the rest. It was a time factor for us, we just wanted it done! I wouldn't recommend the company I used. Although they were fairly professional, they took about 3 weeks to do it. I've seen houses come down and site cleaned in 3 days... It could set you back about 10K, depending what is on the land, trees, asbestos, and how much they salvage etc. Get a 'man' in!! Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... I love my house!!
