I think from memory he will be charging us $57 ea for light switches. (can't remember the rest of the prices) What do ya think??? Thanks! Re: Thorney's GJ Lewis Home......Is Officially Ours :) 948Oct 14, 2009 10:08 pm Hi everybody!!!! *waves* Thanks for all the congratulatory messages ...it's soooo good to be finally back online again! What a mental week or so it has been.....l dunno how l survived it to be honest! The move last Tuesday went extremely well. No breakages, no damage to the house (l was expecting a few scraped walls) and best of all no dirty carpets The rest of the week l spent madly cleaning the rental yuk yuk yuk!! and unpacking the seemingly endless amount of boxes we have Still got a fair bit to do but nothing that can't wait, lol. The first night in our new house was all a bit surreal. It took a good couple of days to sink in that that we are really 'home' I just love it to bits It is so wonderful having all this space. l can't believe how much bigger the house is now that the furniture is in!... l really thought it would be the opposite. I'm so loving that there is a proper home for everything....and l'm surprised that the WIL is almost full already!! The kiddo's have settled in well and are loving their bedrooms and the Rumpus room. The Spa bath has been a massive hit too...they would have one every night if l'd let them, lol. So all is good so far and l can't wait til the house is fully decorated (which will be a long ongoing process!).....there are so many blank walls just screaming for prints, paintings or photos to be put up on!! The HT is the only room that's fully completed already and it's come up a treat ...well l think so anyway, lol http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t271/diamondzoe/DSCF0325.jpg http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t271/diamondzoe/DSCF0324.jpg And ya, my photography skills has not improved any Will take and post some more "moved in' pics over the coming days Now to begin the mammoth task of catching up on all the goss and action that's been happening on the forum! Its pretty full on once you move in isnt it? Its amazing as you build its great to come onto this web site to keep you sane and give you something interesting to do as you patiently wait for the house to be built, and to interact with people that are doing the same thing. Then once you move in, if your like me you want to come on but there doesnt seem to be the time anymore, and when you do you have soooooo many posts to catch up on I am hooked on Homeone now though and have just started to make the time to have my "fix" daily again Looking forward to seeing more pictures and posts from you again Know where your going in life............... you may already be there We already paid for somfy motors for the blinds.
