Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 23, 2009 9:10 pm Hi,
I'm a mum of an 18 month old girl and dh and I are building our first home We've just spent the last 6 months coming up with our own design, gezz I didn't realise it was such a huge task! but I'm really glad we did as we're very happy with it. We've purchased a flat block of land, it's 898 sq m and soil testing has begun. I only just stumbled across this wesbite the other day and have been glued to it since then, such a wealth of info. Our house is a total of 325.16 sq m. 4 bedrooms, 2 bath, large garage (will have storage at the back) Theatre room for dh's projector screen tv, rumpus room off the kids bedrooms and open plan kitchen/living and dining. We've put in heaps of storage as I feel you can never have enough Looking forward to getting to know you all and I hope my attachments work. mmm, my attachments didnt work Re: Newbie here and to building 2Jan 23, 2009 9:23 pm Welcome to the forum!

Re: Newbie here and to building 3Jan 23, 2009 9:33 pm What do you save your pics as on your computer? because when I try to do an attachment it's telling me that an extension of PDF or JPEG is not allowed. I've not had this problem before with other forums Re: Newbie here and to building 4Jan 23, 2009 9:36 pm Hmm good question, I've never used the attachment on here. I upload my photos to either my blog or to photobucket, and then use the 'Img' button to link to that picture.

Our back patio will be facing north and we intend to build a pool Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Newbie here and to building 7Jan 23, 2009 10:50 pm It all looks very nice.
