Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Is being replaced AGAIN tomorrow - 3rd time lucky... maybe. Manager has been down to their warehouse just now to inspect and will only deliver us the best one. SO WE DONT WHINGE AGAIN! So frustrating. This week will also have the shower screen company to come FIX (*fingers crossed) our ensuite shower screen for the 2ND time. We have one area where it is leaking from. They come to fix it last week and made even more of a mess - took our skirting off and it is a disaster. Sick of having to take hrs and days off work for them to come fix all their mistakes. grrrrr Still having troubles to get a fencing contractor to come give us a quote for our side fences. Noone wants our business, they dont even return calls now - it is only a little bit of business not a big job but noone will take it on yet. Thinking now we may even have to build it build it ourselves. Will post some photos soon. Really hoping to get things done in the garden this weekend. Lost the whole past weekend on a hens party on the Gold Coast. Rant over. But still loving our new home. Re: Megzy New Home - Loving our new home! 495Sep 30, 2009 9:37 am Hooray our beautiful front door is finally finished. THIRD TIME LUCKY! Was installed yesterday and painter was there to do a couple of coats of stain. Im in love! Yesterday our shower screen was fixed again for the 2nd time. Hopefully we dont have any more leaks. We have a big weekend planned for this weekend coming - friends wedding. Week after that all hands on at our place, whole heap of bark, rocks and plants being delivered. Cant wait. Got a quote on Monday night for fly screens - the Invisigard ones. 9k.... I dont think so. Think we may just go with s/s fly mesh after that quote. That is ridiculous and the sales guy was an a$$. Felt uncomfortable in my own home. Moving on... Photo time. Yay! As you can see in the photos, still havent found a dining table - to be honest havent been shopping for one yet. Aim is to have one by this christmas. That is a pivot front door? love it. Thanks SuH. Sure is pivot. Had some issues with the timber in the door but finally can enjoy it now completed fully. It is huge and it definately helps to have a turf farm owner in the family as we have used about 400m2 so far.
