The alarm system has been installed. Still a few things to go but the end is definitely in sight. Things to do are rain tank, blinds and curtains, shower screens, garage door, driveway, stove and rangehood. Re: Building an EB Memphis28Mk3**Floor Tile Pics 30/9/09 387Oct 01, 2009 9:22 pm A quick update - the living area floor tiles are done. I will take some pics tomorrow and post them. We are really happy with the way they turned out. Re: Building an EB Memphis28Mk3**Living Area Tiles DONE!!! 388Oct 01, 2009 9:59 pm Looking great, Leonard! Re: Building an EB Memphis28Mk3**Living Area Tiles DONE!!! 389Oct 02, 2009 10:51 am principessa Looking great, Leonard! Your interior colours are coming together beautifully! Started packing yet?! Thanks principessa - Packing? Ohh god I dread the thought of it. I've been in my current place for 17 years next month. The good thing is the Landlord lives downstatirs from us so I don't have a real estate to deal with and the hassel of giving formal lease end notification etc. so the move will not have to be done all at once. I'm also planning to rationalise what makes the move to the new house vs what makes the move to the tip. I'm not a hoarder by any means but spending 17 yrs in one place does see the accumulation of a lot of stuff. Re: Building an EB Memphis28Mk3**Living Area Tiles DONE!!! 390Oct 02, 2009 7:45 pm Living Area Floor Tiles - Linen Cupboards - WIR's - and Shower Screens. WOW what a week for progress. We used 2 reversed rows in the Ensutie. It turned out better than we thought. Should have done the same in the main bathroom but we are happy all the same. Can't wait to see all the tiles cleaned. Re: Building an EB Memphis28Mk3**Photo Fest 2/10/09 393Oct 07, 2009 6:21 pm A quick update, the Rainwater tank has been delivered, and all of the door handles have been installed. Re: Building an EB Memphis28Mk3**Photo Fest 2/10/09 394Oct 09, 2009 12:31 pm Getting close now. The Garage Door has been installed and the first round of quality checking has been done in prep for touch ups. Little bits of blue tape everywhere. Still no sign of the Range or the Cooker. The BIR door handles are on back-order with an unknown ETA. The Front Entry door will need another coat of varnish as it's got a couple blemishes on it. The Portico Roof has been buttoned up for the 3rd and final time. Portico guttering is still unresolved at this point. Driveway is on-hold pending Council approval of the concreter - Not sure why the extra approval is required. I'm guessing because we are moving the lay-back in the gutter???? but who knows with HSC. Going to try and catch-up with the SS onsite later this arvo and get a sneek peek inside. Pics will be uploaded later today. It actually looks better than the pics in EB's brochure. Thanks Jasmine - Yep really happy with it. It's all coming together. SS thinks about 2 weeks and it will be all done!!! Re: Building an EB Memphis28Mk3**Garage Door Pics 9/10/09 399Oct 13, 2009 10:17 am A quick update - The Watertank pump has been installed, (I will need to build a cover for it as I really don't like the look of it) the touch-ups inside are almost finished, all of the windows and the stacker door have been cleaned and adjusted, and the place in general (Floors and Tiles) have had a big clean in prep for the carpet I guess. The cooker and the rangehood are still MIA and our longbar BIR handles are still on back order . I did notice that the Garage overhead lintel got missed by the painter. No PCI or handover date advised yet but I feel they are pretty close.
