Re: Building an EB Memphis28Mk3**Carpet laying pics 20/10!!!!! 414Oct 20, 2009 4:08 pm The carpet looks great, we have a very similar one (if not the same one) and I love it. So much easier to keep clean without any pile (and young kids playing on it all day ) Great to hear that you will be in before Xmas and the hot weather too Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. So much easier to keep clean without any pile (and young kids playing on it all day ) Great to hear that you will be in before Xmas and the hot weather too Hi Hels - Thanks - Yep we have 2yo twins so we decided to go with the Standard Builders Range carpet with a view that we will change it if needed in a number of years after the kids get older. It's a 50/50 wool blend sisal so it's built to take a beating. Can't recall the exact colour but it is the one we selected. What colour garage door did you go for? Did you get your front door stained? If so what colour did you go for? Hi - Sorry for taking so long - been a bit busy - The timber stain is a Cabots Semi Glosss in Jarrah T colour. The Garage door is manufactured by Decro and the colour number that matches to Jarrah T is DC30. Rgds Leonard. Re: Building an EB Memphis28Mk3**Carpet laying pics 20/10!!!!! 417Oct 23, 2009 3:17 pm With our house nearing completion, I was thinking about what we are looking forward to most about moving.
It didn't take long to come up with the number 1 top reason!!!!! This pic was taken today, 23/10/09 at 15:00 EDST on our Back Deck at our current rental. The Deck is pretty much fully enclosed other than 2 windows and a doorway. I will not miss the temperature battle this Summer. The internal touch-ups have been completed and the place appears to have had it's final clean. I don't think the Tyrells inspection will be occuring today as there are still a few big ticket items not done, namely the hot water system and the stove have not been installed, and the driveway is only half done. The other smaller item are the handles for all of the BIR's are still MIA. I'm not too stressed though. I got my first quote back for my retaining wall along the side of the house. As expected it's more than I want it to be so I'm in the process of removing a number of items from the quote that I will do myself. Rgds Leonard. Re: Building an EB Memphis28Mk3**almost there!!!!! 419Oct 27, 2009 3:33 pm I was curiuos as to why the concrete for the drive was left half done. I got an answer to this today. Apparently HSC have an issue with the cross-over! and the pour was shut down by a HSC inspector. Not sure exacatly what this issue is. Info from my SS is they are all meeting onsite sometime tomorrow to disucss. I should front up and table my retaining wall questions as well. I'm not too happy about the pour being stopped as the concrete that is there has cured and a cold joint will now be forever in the driveway right on the crest of it too. Bugger of a place to have a join as I reckon it will no doubt move the pavers and form a large crack that you will never be able to stop. I have half a driveway completed. All of the Concrete including the crossover has been layed and approx half the pavers have been layed as well. No Pics-Sorry- I have been super busy over the past 2 days so I only got to do a quick drive-by this arvo. DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair We purchased a 1960s property that is on timber stumps mostly, and a newer section is on concrete stumps. We had a building inspection initially and they reported some… 0 9631 Strong enough for what? For linen, absolutely. To climb on, no. I've got similar shelving in my garage and it holds a decent amount of weight. 900 wide shelves will carry… 1 2972 Probably a not bad thing to mention particle board should in case anyone else reading this got the two confused. 6 3523 |
