Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 18, 2009 8:33 pm Hi guys,
We have just put our deposit in to build a Rowland 35 with PD. We are pencilled in for an April site start so need to get cracking on choosing our colours etc. Does anyone have a list of which bricks are in the 'standard range' and also which are 'Group 1 upgrades etc, including the relevant prices'. Any help would be appreciated. Built in now city 2009, now moving to the country to embark on another build. Check out our previous blog http://ourpalazzo.blogspot.com/ Re: PD Lifestyle...standard brick range 2Jan 18, 2009 8:42 pm Your sales guy should have given you a pack ( like a show bag) with brochures on all the "standard" inclusions and list of bricks etc.
From memory some were......Jarrah, Orient, Brown Terrain, Old Maple (?), Rouge, Cleveland (?).....sorry. Maybe ring your sales guy and ask for a pack. Alternatively go into Hopetoun well before your appt (you can browse there on weekends) and get an idea of what is standard and what the upgrade options are. Bricks are all Boral.
Cat 1. ie. standard = Rouge, Lachlan, Amber blaze, Brushwood, Sienna, Tanami, Jarrah and Berwick Rustic. Then there are upgrades from category 2 up to 6. No idea on prices for upgrades as we chose Jarrah but I can list the rest for you if you need them. Standard mortar is a grey colour but we chose to go with an off white which added $505 to our costs on our 29 sq Frances. Hope that helps. What we have done in a few theatres ( including my own) is run 2 layers of 13mm gyprock, but sounds insulation especially for the bass is really tricky as a lot of that… 4 2569 2 8358 I should have followed up on this thread. So, the pier foundation wasn't large enough on the side it was leaning towards, and the NBN cable went through the pier, just… 8 12127 |
