Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 14, 2009 1:54 pm [b]Hey guys, i am looking at buying at Stonecutters Estate. Am thinking of buying Lot 2014 right at the entry on the golf course. Anything I should know? Have just gone to Cosmo to meet their sales guys. Want to build their Scarborough. Think it looks really cool. Is anyone going to the display thing on the weekend? Re: WOW this is great blog 2Jan 14, 2009 5:35 pm Hey Greggy!
Nice block We're buying golf course also (Lot 1309 at the end of the road) Just my thoughts 1. You won't have too much privacy in your backyard and you're washing line will have to be hidden with a screen (same issue for us) 2. When applying for your finance - do the loan for the land first - ask Mark P at the sales centre for a referral to their mortgage broker - he has handled the other golf course property and the valuation for the land came in spot on. We applied for land and house and the valuation was shocking (very low). 3. We've seen the display at The Vintage - wow! Make sure that you've got some good shading on Bed 2 & 3 at the front - you'll get the very hot afternoon sun (since north is the direction the golf holes face). 2m deep pergola would do the trick. We will be there on Sat in the 10-12pm session along with some other buyers on the forum (Nav & cielly). We are the tall white guy & the asian chick After 4 years - we're in! Re: WOW this is great blog 3Jan 14, 2009 6:55 pm Are you golfers? We sort of are...just like the space idea.
Don't think we will be too public because we are a bit off the course really, the 6th i think it is is just up a bit....janette, the sales lady says it will be mainly landscaped areas we will face....beats Kellyville everyday....much better then looking at 1000 other homes from our backyard. We were close to buying in the ponds but then saw this. chalk and cheese. am hoping once its established and the golf course is open it will become a real diamond. We went to Vintage too. I think they will be the answer. Cosmo seems pretty nice to deal with too. When we built last time the builder was a bit "absent" in our needs. Didn't care too much as they were one of the big guys. Anyway they a better quality and look for this estate. I dont think too many Australand types will appear. Hope not. We have finance sorted already. Janette put us onto Mortgage Choice. Was done in like 3 seconds. He came and saw as at home the other night. My name is Greg (obviously) and the wife is Sandy. We will spend most of our time in the Cosmo display on Saturday. Can't wait to see what they have done. Janette says it is looking really special. Have seen Nav in local paper. He's famous! So exciting! Re: WOW this is great blog 5Jan 14, 2009 7:13 pm looks like a nice estate.. Although the golf course has a strange layout.. if you wanted to play the back 9 you have a long walk from the club house to hole 10!! (And it's the only estate in Sydney where you can be right on the golf course) After 4 years - we're in! 0 4982 |
