Building Vancouver 33 - My Thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89689 Re: Not long to go now! 105Jun 11, 2009 9:34 pm woo-hoo looking good cookies! and They even worked during the long weekend inspection went well! 109Jun 23, 2009 11:40 am hey everyone! so we had our inspection yesterday, and it went really well. first of all, they have forgotten to deck the portico, and add a second rail to the walk in robe. so we told them about that. second and the main issue, the bulkhead is crooked by 6mm. third there is some bubbling in some of the cornices. this is a big deal and i urge everyone to check yours as eventually they crumble apparently. so they are getting replaced and repainted. apart from that, just a few scratches here and there. we hired an independant inspector, and we should receive his report tomorrow, so hopefully he didn't find anything new! the builder said it should all be finished 'within a week' but i don't believe him, i think it'll be 2 weeks. but we'll see!!! also i got some piccies for you all but the forum is saying the board attachment quota has been reached...?
