now i know what to request. also do you mind telling me can we add internal doors at contract? - i did not put in doors for kids' ensuite, but now i want to add doors to their ensuite? nh Re: cost of water tap in fridge space 10Dec 04, 2008 11:28 am If your fridge uses an inline water filter then you should see if you can get the tap at the back of a cupboard and then run water lines to the inline filter then to the fridge.
Just makes changing the filter easier. Re: cost of water tap in fridge space 12Dec 04, 2008 7:05 pm Re: cost of water tap in fridge space 13Dec 05, 2008 8:20 am We got a water tap provision, but my tender has disappeared off the 24/7 website, so i cant tell u how much it was....but i think from the other posts u should have a rough idea...
i did want to say though, that if u can, u should try and route the water tap to the side or the top, or somwhere that it wont take up too much space a the back so that u have more room to fit the fridge in...does that make sense? we didnt do that, and now i;m worried that the fridge will stick out lots cos we have a small fridge space... but then again, ur building the brookvale, so u;l have plenty of space! hehehe Re: cost of water tap in fridge space 14Dec 05, 2008 8:55 pm thanks newbies
appreciate your advice, so we can actually ask them where to put the tap in the fridge space? (come back from colour and electrical appointment, too tired to put up my colours to day) - stil not sure about a few things nh Re: cost of water tap in fridge space 15Dec 06, 2008 11:16 am hi guys, we asked PD if we could put the tap at the side but the answer was no. They did say that it would only stick out about 3cm so I don't think it will make much difference anyway. Re: cost of water tap in fridge space 16Dec 15, 2008 9:10 am our capped cold water point in the fridge space was $141 too. Re: cost of water tap in fridge space 17Dec 31, 2008 9:39 pm We are building with Masterton Homes, we had this added at Tender Stage and the cost was $90.00.
Another surprising cost was for an additional Laundry Tub, with taps and tiling and floor waste for $230.00. Before Beechwood went bust they wanted to charge us $1150.00 !! John Re: cost of water tap in fridge space 18Dec 31, 2008 10:14 pm our capped cold water point to fridge space cost $150. Re: cost of water tap in fridge space 19Dec 31, 2008 10:56 pm Didn't add a water point to our fridge space (d'oh!) but we did add capped hot and cold water points to the garage, at a cost of $128 each. We also added a floor waste, all so we can put in a laundry trough. Husband is a home brewer....Lord save me. Can a plumber put a tap on a rain water tank which is full? Tank is similar to one in photo. Cheers. 0 1668 I had a similar issue with my fridge not too long ago. It wasn't the same model, but the symptoms were pretty much the same: the compressor would start and then stop… 3 7531 that will depend on the kitchen bench depth. you'll have to specify it so it allows for both the tap and the sink 1 7394 |
