How is everyone else going!? Good to see lieper is moving in too! Anyone got any information on the new land release (wetlands) ? Re: Cascades on Clyde 383Jun 25, 2010 3:40 pm they've just completed stage 9 and 12? those wetlands look like they haven't been touched for a while... hmmmm. ---------------------------------------------------- Living the dream.... yeap a mortgage... Re: Cascades on Clyde 384Jun 26, 2010 2:30 pm Yeah i saw the new signage when i was driving in... not sure when they all start selling, havent been to the sales office in a while. Must be getting up around $250k for land now?! Went to the selandra sales office the other week... their prices are pretty expensive! We saw the sign 'land from $155k' that was for 300m2 land! haha. Most blocks were $220k+. Aaron... we've got 'Cartel' coming on tuesday to hook up our optic fibre cabling... were they good to deal with and did they hook it up ok?? Simonds Stirling 2400 Cascades On Clyde Site Start: 15.1.10 Current Stage: Handover 24th June Our Thread:https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=29066 Re: Cascades on Clyde 385Jun 26, 2010 6:38 pm I think the main issue with mine is that when the house was getting built the pipe from the house to the telstra pit (across the road) was damaged thus not being able to feed the cable through to connect me. Cartel Communications seem okay, not much choice.. I think they are the only sub-contractors for Telstra over this way Any for anyone else that is interested to know about the new land release: http://wetlandsrelease.com.au/Cascades_On_Clyde.swf Last time I checked the same size blocks as mine (and I have a small block at 420m2) was $200k in the new land release.. my house owes me around $285k :D Further to Selandra Rise, the signs saying that land is starting at $155k was complete crap. I went to sales office when it opened, they either had small blocks or they were putting people in the draw to 'win' a bigger block (hence the marquee, etc a few weeks back). Also a side note that the new Mariott Waters sales office has gone in too, near the Clyde/Cranny Road roundabout.. expect big things in coming months!! In conclusion, land pricing is going to shoot through the roof now that the planning minister has given a green light to Cranbourne and Clyde.. Which can only mean the current homes will go up. I am curious to know when the sales office will stop selling land (ie. the estate is 'complete').. as this will ultimately determine values aswell Re: Cascades on Clyde 387Jun 27, 2010 8:50 pm They did the box outside and the power supply in the garage Re: Cascades on Clyde 388Jun 29, 2010 8:27 am leiper86 Yeah i saw the new signage when i was driving in... not sure when they all start selling, havent been to the sales office in a while. Hi guys... their website is http://www.wetlandsrelease.com.au However when you go on there, its just a page for registration of interest for the release. I believe there is a council information evening about the Cranbourne East development plan on the 12th July, but this is unconfirmed as yet. Still no news about whether there is going to be a rezone of suburbs any time soon, because as far as I know the Selandra Rise and the Wetlands release is being sold off as Clyde North. I wonder what will happen if they sell the land as Clyde North and it is rezoned to Cranbourne East.. which, from what I understand, is the plan for all land on this side of Berwick Cranbourne Road. If your on Facebook, there is a Cascades on Clyde group... Guy from Cascades posts on there sometimes so not a bad place to get info. I just had a look on the Selandra Rise website and their land release. OMG.. very small blocks !! No mixture of sizes like at Cascades.. Im so glad I got my block when I did (which is a 620sq metre) because it looks like they are thing of the past !! I wonder what the block sizes will be around the wetlands in Cascades? April 2010 Re: Cascades on Clyde 389Jun 29, 2010 2:26 pm Question for you experienced home builders... Our builder is supposed to go halfs in our fences but on the left side of the block there are currently paddocks and the builder says they have no way of contacting an owner. It's been pegged out as part of Stage 14b and the website says that someone has purchased a couple of the blocks (3 blocks back onto ours). Who would be the best people to talk to? Do we have to pay for the whole fence ourselves? Thanks, Dan _____________________________ Building with Dennis Family Homes Flinders 331 Classic Cascades on Clyde http://www.heathershawhouse.blogspot.com/ Re: Cascades on Clyde 390Jun 29, 2010 8:42 pm hshaw Question for you experienced home builders... If they are not sold, it wont excuse the builder from their obligation to pay their half.. so just sit tight or ask for a credit. In our case, we had nobody behind us and we just paid for the whole lot ourselves. It was cheaper to do that than to pay for temporary fencing. Hope this helps. Re: Cascades on Clyde 396Aug 05, 2010 8:11 pm Hi Ralphd, I have bought in stage 12 at Cascades on Clyde and am wondering what is involved with connecting to the fibre optics advertised on the estate. I am unfamiliar with this technology. How is everyone going on the estate? Is it still lovely and quiet as per old posts? I am impressed with everyones homes so far and the whole estate has a lovely feel to it. Building with SJD Homes Pakenham Re: Cascades on Clyde 399Aug 23, 2010 6:51 pm Hey guys!
