looking great - now I'm just trying to think of a user name (or should I keep the same one?)
I'd say your username is just fine. In fact, Megan changed hers to the similar format. It's making me rethink mine.

Hmm... personally, I can only remember a few of the new members whose username starts with "stonecutter". Those lot numbers will be replaced by a street number later on so it will be harder to remember which person belongs to which lot later on. Re: Stonecutters Ridge 683Jul 12, 2010 3:50 pm True, it might get a bit confusing over time, but I'm happy to change an username on request if needed. Additionally, I've made a habit of adding my real name to my signature - not sure if everyone feels comfortable doing this on the resident forum. (plus I recon you are the most knowledgeable about the estate and it’s affairs) Yes I agree .. the lot numbers are going to be a thing of the past when we all move in and a unique name is a great thing then.. So your name or a nick name is the way to go from my point of view. Re: Stonecutters Ridge 690Jul 12, 2010 11:22 pm hi all, some reading information (i am sure some of you have read this info already) D http://www.metrostrategy.nsw.gov.au/dev ... fields.pdf http://www.metrostrategy.nsw.gov.au/dev ... tion4b.pdf http://www.growthcentres.nsw.gov.au/med ... pipres.pdf http://www.growthcentres.nsw.gov.au/med ... iqanda.pdf Building Impression 38 MK II at SCR - http://serendipity1303.blogspot.com http://stonecutterscommunity.com Re: Stonecutters Ridge 691Jul 12, 2010 11:56 pm Hi all, As you may know we are in council waiting for approval .. In preparation to start the build we would like to align ourselves with a good independent building inspector/building inspection company. So what better than a recommendation from one/many of you who have used the services of the same crowd. If the details shouldn’t be posted here can you PM it to me please ? Also a mention on what feature you appreciated the most would be lovely to have. (We greatly appreciate the information you provide) D Building Impression 38 MK II at SCR - http://serendipity1303.blogspot.com http://stonecutterscommunity.com Re: Stonecutters Ridge 692Jul 13, 2010 9:04 am Hey Doozie - I found that particular building inspector was very good on the technical aspects. Plus he's liaised with Wisdom many times so he's familiar with their procedures and standards. He's also local. Though he'll pick up the major issues, especially structural ones. We checked on most of the cosmetic things ourselves (once I sort out a screen name and join the community forum, I'll post the checklist we used) On the feature thing - do you mean in the house itself? After 4 years - we're in! Re: Stonecutters Ridge 693Jul 15, 2010 9:11 pm Don't forget - The Stonecutters Ridge thread has (more or less) migrated to the Community Forum at http://www.stonecutterscommunity.com. If you're building at Stonecutters Ridge and want to meet your neighbours, come join the community and post any questions or comments you may have. FYI, there's a third section not available immediately after registration. To gain access, you'll need to have a current resident vouch for you or, in some way, prove you live at SCR. Cheers! Hey Tempura what happened with your land purchase? Re: Stonecutters Ridge 699Jul 22, 2010 1:45 pm Hi all, DeletedPenguin and I are still trying to make final decisions on driveway, and without a copy of the design guidelines in front of me I'm not sure if we are even allowed to do something like this but, I was searching online and found this product: http://www.lifestone.com.au/gallery-driveways_doors.asp I gave them a call and unfortunately the closest vendor for this company is VIC. Has anyone seen this before or know of a company in NSW that might use Liquid Limestone? Hey Tempura what happened with your land purchase? Land valuation came down significantly lower than the market value so we decided to pull off. |
