We would have liked the render on the feature pillar to be a bit darker, but it is so hard to tell with samples. Once the sill is rendered and the cedar coverboard placed over the downpipe, it should look great. We should have our handover inspection on Tuesday. It has been a long drawn out process but we are very nearly there. More details posted soon and on our blog. We didn't get an inspector but got a family member who was a builder to look over it and he said it looked good. If you don't have someone like this I would consider it as each build could be different and the SS may not pick everything up. If your build is also a bit different from the norm then I would definately get someone to check it out. The only change we had during building was the brick colour as our original was not available. We have also requested a change to the Walk-in Pantry as the fridge cavity is not big enough for our fridge. There have been some areas that we were not happy with and Urban Edge have been more than willing to fix them up straight away. Our SS is sick of us and will be glad to see our home signed off. Were are you building? I love your floor plan. It looks quite a bit different to the standard Ludo. Huge living area and I love the study. How many squares is it now? Urbanedge do move quite fast at the start, although ours slowed down quite a bit in the end. Our build was supposed to finish at the start of this week. When handover happens we will be about 10 days overdue. FD2 Hi FD, We are building in Point Cook. Thanks for appreciating the floor plan, I'm very pleased with it too. The original Ludo 002 was 12.83m (width) x 20.76m and is 22.94squares. Ours became 16x19.98. It came up to a total of 27.66 squares with the addition of the study and widening of the garage. It all started with the flipping of the house plan to make the garage in the correct position for the crossover. Then we got all these "dead" spaces and trying to find a solution for it. Did you get compensated for the overdue days? Any updates as to the handover? I'm excited for you!!! We were supposed to start the build around the same time as you did, so I was thinking... our house could be at the same stage as yours Cheers!
