Not sure if this response is timely enough for you - this is my first post to the website and I have been reading some interesting comments. We have just started our building process in Perth and are rendering our house - however, were concerned when we have seen some rendered homes that were faded and cracked. We have decided to upgrade the render on our home from the standard sand finish render which is painted - to what they call unitex render where the paint is tinted through the render. I haven't been able to find much information on this topic out there, so if anyone else has any comments on this, I would be interested in hearing them.
