Hi,
Thanks so much last time for giving me some much valuable opinions about l'dry dr. I decided to go with the original ( timber door+ small window).
Now, I'm considering the electrical. There are a few questions I wish to hear opinions again:
1. the living zone is quite straightward: kitchen, meals then living rms in a rectangle. ( this looks very similiar to mine http://www.orbithomes.com.au/homes/vic_alcott202.html but family rm only got one window)
wish to have ceiling fan in Family rm ( size around 4.8x4), the builder provides standard batten holder in the centre of the living rm. If i have fan at that pt, I need to have extra batten holder, but where to put, at the rear/side wall? Or I should simply pick a ceiling fan with light? ( is the illumination enough for that rm?
2. the kitchen, also standard is a batten holder in the centre ( size about 4.8x2.. will that make the breakfast bar very dim? i'm thinking to have a sleek fluorescent light/ those a set of three pendant in the centre of the kitchen or have it over the bar. If that, do I still need two sets of lights: one centred, one over bar?) on one hand, i worried not enough illumination, while also think it will be too much for a small kitchen and the small area ( the whole kitchen, meal + living is around
i won't have downlights as we don't like them. tks
maybe i think too much! ??
