LATEST: Frame Complete http://metricon-mercer.livejournal.com Re: Our new adventure....still in plannig....seems like forever 35Nov 18, 2008 7:19 am Great plan PK, like everyone else has said, you have done so well to fit all the tick-the-box things on it. The bedrooms all looka good size too. Which way is north?
fingers crossed it comes in under budget. WHen do you find out? Re: Our new adventure....still in plannig....seems like forever 36Nov 18, 2008 8:36 am woah! like everyone before me has said...great use of space! I'm amazed that you could get all of that in, without making it looked cramped!
I'm sorry to see no plunge pool..hehe...but besides that, everything looks great...AND you have more storage space than me too!!! Re: Our new adventure....still in plannig....seems like forever 37Nov 18, 2008 8:44 am Thanks Monkeyupatree, we thought we would make sure we still had some yard even on a small block.
Kexkez, Its nice that we have been able to get everything that we require and yeah it still is functional....no rooms that we wouldn't use and a couple we will love using all the time. The facade will be nothing to over the top I am thinking a light roof and light window frames so if this soesn't look any good with the limestone it might have to go..........that ones not certain yet. Begeers, the whole house is 261sqm, that includes obviously porch alfresco and garage. Hopefully we can find a good colour to compliment the natural look out the front. Paula, that storage doubles as DH's shed so he will not be able to complain about having nowhere to put all his toys, I mean tools... Donuts, thanks we have tried to make sure the rooms aren't to pokey....there were some things we gave up for that reason but so far we have put the plan together on My Virtual Home and put double beds in the rooms to see how they all fit and they are all pretty good except bed4. North is facing the kitchen....so not the most ideal location for that reason but we will make it work.....it will be good for the solar heated pool. the costing usually takes about 4 weeks apparently. Wow 38Nov 18, 2008 9:08 am So much storage space, i am jealous. I like it very much. I have just been sitting staring at it imagining where my furniture would go. Oh well dreams are free. Re: Our new adventure....still in plannig....seems like forever 39Nov 18, 2008 9:29 am Thanks Maurita, and can I say your wall art and fabrics website(it is yours I presume) are gorgeous.....I don't think I have enough walls for all the beautiful wall things I have found maybe I will have to look at cushions and lampshade art instead. Re: Our new adventure....still in plannig....seems like forever 40Nov 18, 2008 9:31 am Hi there
Your plans look great, and work well on your block. Who are you building with? and is it a "Gwelup home"? We might be neighbours (we're in scarb)? We have the limestone out the front v similar to your elevation. We ended up finding some render colours we liked by door knocking a house in Harbour Rise Hillarys, also with a limestone look - the actually the W*bb B*owne N*aves Newport. Two tone combination Solver Kanga (bottom) and Vitesse (top), with an ironstone roof. Originally wanted a lighter roof and windows but this combination just really appealed to us so happy to go with the "complete look". Bec No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed. I’m not sure what was removed, as it was done quite some time ago - well before what I can see with photos online… 2 11588 "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 36 23914 of course there are legal avenues.
