Has anyone built a home with Masterpiece Builders?

Hello - Just checking in to see if you end up engaging or building through Masterpiece?

We are too and building in SE suburbs. Can I give you a call when you have sometime to discuss your journey so far. I am at colours stage !

I have seen a few homes built by Masterpiece Builders and I was not very impressed. Also, close to my house they are finishing one house (not a big one) and the construction has been going on over a year. Being from Europe and being passively involved in home construction - it is a joke to call their builds 'masterpieces'. It will take Australian companies another 50+ years to start using technologies (e.g. windows, insulation, heating and cooling, etc.) we are already using in Europe now, or have been using in the last 10 years.

Based on what I have seen, I would not go with Masterpiece Builders!

Awesome!! Congrats on getting to that stage. Did you find the design process and selection process straight forward? Was there a lot variation from initial quote to final contract.

Yes, there’s a big difference from initial quote to final price. Mainly because of our own choices and upgrades. Which is std with most volume builders that i have dealt with.

Just quickly, we have just started the build with them, it took a year to get everything set up… eg contracts signed. It’s been a little rocky, but nothing I didn’t expect after hearing from others along their own journeys. Pricing has been pretty good and hopefully the build will not get too hilly!!

Hi Katie, I'm considering doing a dual occ duplex with Masterpiece and would be interested to see how your build is going the last few months. Also was wondering why it took you a year to go from your 1st consult to starting the build on site.
