I've posted another thread about dark render on blueboard and potential problems... hopefully one of the officionados in that area can shed some light... And Bel, no Jasper.... it's brown! I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Photoshop help for facade please! 25Nov 12, 2008 9:17 pm Lyn How about the Sunset blend Jo? Have you seen that on any houses (or were they the ones you didn't like?). Because they head into the yellowy colour, they tend to clash with the brick. The brick is quite silvery/grey in real life... But I have to check whether they'll let me use Ivory on it's own or whether it has to be part of a blend... Still waiting to hear back from Bristile. Terrence Malick Re: Photoshop help for facade please! 26Nov 12, 2008 9:20 pm I always thought from looking at the Bristile brochure that the ivory tile was it's own blend with some tiles being mainly terracotta with just a little ivory and others being the other way around.
Am I wrong again? Am I wrong again? No that's right, there is a tile called Ivory, exactly how you describe, but apparently it can only be used when used with other clours like sunset, natural blend, etc. I'm wanting special permission to use it on it's own. I think I may make the columns to the portico brick, and do the front door and the thing between the columns and portico roof Monument.
This is what everything looks like together.... the bricks are not as orange as on the mock up! That's the Dune and Monument samples..... And a natural blend tile... I don't have an Ivory sample... but Ivory goes from that colour to almost white across the tile. http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u353/joles_photo/2008-11-13_14-31-20_13112008329.jpg I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Photoshop help for facade please! 37Nov 13, 2008 2:04 pm Lyn Monument looks great with your brick, Monument windows will look really good. Don't like the Dune with your bricks. Sorry! I know Lyn, it looks weird in the photo doesn't it? But in real life Paperbark is positively yellow against it. And Dune is the best match. My display home has these bricks with Dune guttering, fascia and downpipes. I'll get a pic on the weekend to show how they look. Dune better work with these bricks otherwise myself and Rachelle are all stuffed!!!! I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Photoshop help for facade please! 38Nov 13, 2008 2:11 pm joles Dune better work with these bricks otherwise myself and Rachelle are all stuffed!!!! Lol, didn't realise you had the same bricks! Have you seen any places that use Bushland with these bricks? On screen it is the only lighter Colorbond colour that seems to work (and not much lighter at that, but would look lighter in situ). The bricks seem to have a pinkish tinge which doesn't work with the rest of the Colorbond range. Re: Photoshop help for facade please! 39Nov 13, 2008 2:18 pm Yeah they aren't really pink.... more silvery cream without being yellowish. I specifically wanted to stay away from yellow! Terrence Malick Re: Photoshop help for facade please! 40Nov 13, 2008 2:27 pm Joles have you looked at the Shale Grey as and option instead of the Dune. It would go nicely with your selection. Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3277 Dear Members I have to decide the Facade column size. My custom builder standard is 350mm with rendering, but i asked for 470mm plus stone or tiles and yet to get… 0 7508 traditional gable roof facade - Have you did the dark and light gray color combination in facade with gray stone in facade… 0 4225 |
