Terrence Malick Re: Photoshop help for facade please! 3Nov 12, 2008 8:31 pm Thanks d@n... yeah the Dune is actually a lot closer to the brick in real life....Hmmm too much Monument.
The front door has big glass bits in it as well. You got the roof spot on d@n! Maybe monument render and dune for the garage and front door and bit I don't know what it's called on the portico.... d@n??? Please? I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Photoshop help for facade please! 4Nov 12, 2008 8:37 pm Jo, here’s my put on the colours.
Remember Monument is going to be the most dominate colour for you, no matter what other colour you use. Terracotta and Monument to me will clash. I would think about using the Dune to complement your bricks. There are heaps of houses on my estate that use black guttering and windows..... Even in my roofing brochure there's houses showing black guttering and windows with Terracottta roofs. I have to have a Terracotta coloured roof, it's an estate guideline.... I will post a pic here briefly (until you comment Michelle, then I'll take it off) This house uses my brick and basically my roof, Paperbark and Jasper trim... it looks bland. It would look ten times better with Monument or black or even woodland grey windows and guttering. I don't want my house to look washed out.... That's not going to happen... look at the photo above.... that's how crap paperbark looks with my brick. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Photoshop help for facade please! 8Nov 12, 2008 8:48 pm That’s very bland.
Yes a small amount of Monument will look ok…..but be carful about how much. It needs to be balanced. Yes a small amount of Monument will look ok…..but be carful about how much. It needs to be balanced. Thank god I'm not going mad! Yeah.. that's why I asked d@n to alter it if he can.... I'm thinking just monument for windows and guttering.... Then maybe just the front door? If I then use dune for fascia and garage door.... what should I use for render? Maybe a double strength Dune? I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Photoshop help for facade please! 12Nov 12, 2008 8:55 pm I actually think it's a brick that I'll have to be very careful with.... it can look bland as you can see, but by the same token, it is very easy to overpower it. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Photoshop help for facade please! 13Nov 12, 2008 8:58 pm donuts What about Woodland Grey everywhere you were going to use Monument? The problem with Woodland Grey is many, it looks quite strange against the floor tile we'll use. And it will be against it with the sliding doors. And the bathroom tiling.... we have that grey tile you've seen donuts, and DH has picked a little silver tile that is a little blueish. With the hints of blue/silver in the bathroom, the Woodland Grey looks positively green! I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Photoshop help for facade please! 15Nov 12, 2008 8:59 pm I have seen that brick used with a woodland grey roof and it looked really nice
I think a jasper render, or maybe even monument render like you suggested (although may be a bit dark) I also like the idea of the dune for the garage door and front door. More photoshop variations please!! My karma ran over your dogma Re: Photoshop help for facade please! 16Nov 12, 2008 8:59 pm joles I actually think it's a brick that I'll have to be very careful with.... it can look bland as you can see, but by the same token, it is very easy to overpower it. Very much the case. Have seen houses around here with similar bricks, light mortar, paperbark or similar windows, doors, gutters etc & light brown roof tiles. Too many light tones together. Still too much monument michelle? Just in case everyone has forgotten.... I DON"T HAVE A CHOICE... MY ROOF HAS TO BE A TERRACOTTA COLOUR.... ESTATE GUIDELINE. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3269 Dear Members I have to decide the Facade column size. My custom builder standard is 350mm with rendering, but i asked for 470mm plus stone or tiles and yet to get… 0 7497 traditional gable roof facade - Have you did the dark and light gray color combination in facade with gray stone in facade… 0 4211 |
