Metal roofing screws missed batten in areas

Hey guys
Building a house and recently had our metal roof installed, overall it looks like they have done a pretty neat job from the outside, however on the inside I've noticed a couple of areas where they have missed the battens, including what looks to be a complete run along the side of one of the ridge cappings. Obviously not ideal as the battens are there for a reason and will get them onto it and hopefully they fix it up, just wondering what (if any) are the risks of the odd screw (that I haven't been able to spot) that misses a batten, more likely to leak or anything like that? Or just something that can happen and not major in the scheme of things

definitely needs to be fixed, those screws hold the roof down. Normally they can redirect the screw into the batten if they are close, other option is another batten or a new roof sheet.

The code says the sheet needs to be fixed into a timber or metal batten located at certain spacings to meet the wind conditions for the area, uplift etc. If it doesn't do exactly as the BCA & AS/NZS3500 & AS1562 require then it is non-compliant.

If you have a storm and you get a leak, or a sheet moves or comes loose when your insurer comes to site and sees that it isn't compliant with the required codes then they can claim the damage as an "Uninsurable Event" as the work was illegal due to it not complying.
