From the point of view of longevity of appearance, does anyone have experience with those powder coated wood-appearance exterior products which seem to be around a little more than last time I looked at houses/designs 10 years ago?
I can't seem to paste in a photo, but I'm referring to stuff like:
https://www.alteria.com.au/range/alumin ... en-system/
That one seems to be available with a 25yr appearance warranty, but does need cleaning with soap & water yearly.
The home we've just sold is just brick, with just 4 wooden poles & wooden front door ... if we'd gone with render we'd have had to paint to sell. I'm wondering how this power-coat holds up in the UV though, wood might look nice but I definitely can't stomach that much ongoing maintenance.
