Hi Tom
The guys we used for our stormwater were really good so it could be worth at least having a chat with them about what you need. The company name is Taylor Made Tanks. PM me if you want any details.

Since that tiime (3 weeks ago), the kitchen's in, bath tub is in, bathroom floor tiled, skirting in, cornices done. Chris Hi Chris, We had the kitchen/bathroom/laundry cupboards delivered today and the bath installed but we still don't have a front and back door! I've put a barrier up so it will be a bit more difficult to get in but I really hope we get doors tomorrow! Have you been able to get in to see since you've been locked up? Boston MKII with Fairmont. Great to see the estate coming along now, loads of action. We got our Engineers report (signed contract 25/7 so a few weeks late from what I expected). Footings $1k over the initial $12k allowance. We expected to be close as Soil is S but there is a bit of cut n fill to do. However ... what a head spin reading the report. They found rock in Bore hole 2 that says impenetrable at base. If I've read it right, Bore hole 2 was from .6m to 3m deep and we are not digging down that far so should be good. Will call them today and check. Learnt something too when I was discussing an estimate for driveways and paths. Guy said to make sure we dig right back to the boundary whilst they are prepping the site. I was expecting retaining walls out back but Drainage plan only shows a small 1m wide by .5m deep wall on the East side. Doesn't make sense so will check that today. I have the names and addresses now of neighbors on both sides and out back. Will drop them a line so we can keep in touch during the builds (I'm in Clinker Circuit) Whilst it is not build action, it's action. I knew they were late and called them and said I have a bank appointment and need the soil detail asap. They turned that around quick. Now to keep the pressure on for council approval to have a real late shot at works starting before the Xmas break (not holding my breath though) We've selected bricks and roof, facsia colours already too. Keep well Re: Building in SA! 900Sep 16, 2009 8:41 am wombat Hi there Building at 'The Settlement' Golden Grove. Boston MKII with Fairmont. Great to see the estate coming along now, loads of action. Keep well Good Luck wombat, good to see another Fairmont person on H1, who was your consultant ? We just had lock up yesterday, when I rang the SS (he finally answered his phone) he said he wasn't aware Supreme had delivered the cabinets, we had a house full of stuff, working lights, bath etc but anyone could have come in and wrecked or stolen what they liked, very glad we are locked up even though it seems a little strange not being able to get into our own house! go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110586 Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11039 |
