I am back to the old house now so my bunny can run around in the garden and i can surf internet A bit worry about the bunny as she is still not used to it (no p@ss & dropping at all), not sure if i need to take her to the vet, well, for post-move depression ?? Just put up the letter box today, we received a flyer from post office yesterday that they have difficulty to deliver mail to our place because of no letter box, but i wonder who is going to send me any letters since i have not changed my address yet Day one i already have plumber back to fix the water pipe, still waiting for the electrican to fix the phone conduit, keep calling them, and they keep saying the guy is coming, and he never come .. and also waiting for the rangehood guy come back to do the ducting.. Anyway, the feeling is still good.. enjoy the new house and can't stop cleaning , my DH said that he lost his wife after the move and instead he has a cleaning lady in the house, ha Blog - http://clageonewhouse.blogspot.com/ Building Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=10886&hilit=milan I am in, with my husband and my beautiful bunny Re: Our Milan - Need advice if this is plumbing issue? 124May 29, 2009 7:32 pm Need advice and see if this is my washing machine problem or plumbing problem (means i need to call Simonds again) I turned on the tap, start the machine, water coming out from the tap through the tube and into the washing machine, everything seems normal until i see water coming out from the bottom of the washing machine, then flood my whole lanudry... The water pressure seems to me a bit high, so i am not sure if it is plumbing issue. I need to wait DH home so that I can turn over the washing machine and inspect, but can someone advise where can be wrong? Firstly, check all your connections are tight, if all connections are good you might have split the hose when moving. Hopefully nothing too serious. Re: Our Milan - Need advice if this is plumbing issue? 127May 29, 2009 9:07 pm Hi Wake_me I am not sure what you mean for the "have split the hose when moving", can you explain further? The hose going from the tap to the washing machine, was it wet? It could be that the washer inside the bit screwed onto the tap might not have been set in place properly. If that hose has no sign of water leaking then I would say the washing machine was damaged during the move 'A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.' It also may have split if it was bumped by something sharp. If it's just the hose that's the problem, it's a fairly easy fix. Hope you get it sorted quickly. Judie Re: Our Milan - Need advice if this is plumbing issue? 130Jun 11, 2009 8:44 pm congrats on the moving, claego ! hope you guys can enjoy the new house well g'd luck with the plumbing i hope nothing serious, just a bit loose connection Final stage Re: Our Milan - Need advice if this is plumbing issue? 131Jun 12, 2009 9:30 am Thank you.. it is the washing machine issue but thanks god nothing major so no need to repair. Just have an electrican here installing some lights for me, and running extra wiring for the house. Our office (to be accurate, it is the next building) has a confirmed swine flu case, i am not infected but i can choose to work from home, work out better for me so that i can stay at home for the light installation For the house, everything is good except still waiting Simonds to do the rangehood ducting for me. Chasing them nearly everyday, only been told that the purchase order has been sent to the installer, but still, no one is coming and completed the ducting.. when this is going to end? And i am shocking to find out that my SS is no longer working with Simonds. He is only with them since March, so only a few months and left.. I guess that he may be too soft (he basically agree everything we said) so Simonds has to get rid of him, just my opinion anyway.. so now my CSR has to chase up the certificate for me And today i finally have my free-to-air TV connected (of course through the optic fibre)... A lot, a lot of issues, with a lot, a lot of phone calls and emails, my DH even threaten to raise the issue to the communication ombudsman... I can't beleive that it is this complicated, the estate has not provide enough support and information . I just hope that other new owners will not go through what i have been through, it was very frustrasted and stressful exercises to just get free-to-air TV connected... Next on agenda, it is internet and phone.. just want to say goodbye to the wireless G network, it is sooooooo slow... i really want the fast boardband back to my life... Have called internode (internet/phone provider) to organise the activation, it will take up to 5 working days, finger cross, no more issue... Other than that, so far so good... i have been working on my maintenance list also.. it is filling up very quickly, but mostly are paint touch up.. only concern is the cracking ninch and the sliding door.. look like my sliding door in dinning area not seal properly, so the wind can come into the house, and I feel like having a surround system 'on' in my dinning area during windy day ... There are still a lot to be done, blinds, air-con, concreting backyard and gardening, and i still haven't done anything about the fence.. will be busy coming up in the next few weeks/months Blog - http://clageonewhouse.blogspot.com/ Building Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=10886&hilit=milan I am in, with my husband and my beautiful bunny Re: Our Milan - update after handover 134Sep 21, 2009 10:54 pm Yeah Claego hope all is well and that you finally received the mortar cert. How come?! that doesn't sound like a lot of fun ... BTW, what is "ninch"? My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... yes it does, you've just not understood it. theres a difference. 4 5341 Your house should come in "as new" condition.
