Hi, looking for some advice on cutting as new extension roof into an old roof. I plan to put in a valley and was wondering do i need to actually cut my existing common rafters to insert a valley rafter and then tie in new creeper rafters or they ok to tie into existing common rafters? I would then just lay my valley boards on the tie in. Hope this is clear enough??

If so, you would need to continue with the right roof via roof trusses that is supported over the existing wall and a veranda roof beam then continue with valley trusses over the left roof.
