We need to have the current crossover removed and the curb reinstalled, but the builder will be paving the actual crossover as a part of the plan. Can anyone just remove this? Like, can we just get hold of a jackhammer or something and break it up and remove it ourselves? We would get someone else in to rebuild the curb. Any help is greatly appreciated If you are in NSW the work needs to be done by a licensed contractor with insurance. I have to fill in the council driveway applications all the time and we need to supply a copy of the contractors license and insurance and a bunch of other stuff. I don't know about CDCs. CDC process is the same as DA. They still need to approve the crossover and do a before and after inspection, although I am not sure they always do an after inspection in all councils.
