Does the builder have to provide evidence when submitting a variation notice?
The builder is charging me an extra $16k for a site cut, but they are not showing me the invoice.
Doesn't that mean the builder could just make up a random number and charge me?

This presupposes that the variation is valid. Too many of my clients have paid variations that were not valid before seeing me.
