Alfresco / Sliding stackers open air functionality

We are currently mid build with MJH, we opted with an alfresco and sliding stacker doors (perfer the funcionality over the sliding stackers). I love going through the display homes when the doors are open looking into the alfresco, which is why i wanted to do it from the very beginning. Preferably on a weekend morning, or when we have guests over for lunch or maybe dinner even.

What never crossed my mind, is the obvious and that being flies / mosquito's etc... entering the home.
Does anyone encounter major issues like that, or have any way to counter that issue rather than flyscreens, as i personally love the open air look and vibe, without the mesh there.

Just interested to see if anyone has any methods, like scents or if perhaps the fan on the alfresco ceiling turned on perhaps deters flies etc...

I'm going to have a similar set up (bi fold doors instead of sliding stackers), and I know I'll be getting a retractable insect screen for night time and seasonal use.

Oh ok, didnt think of the retractable idea, something i might have to look into

Checkout Centor Screens. But MJH may not allow you to install them during construction so make allowances at the reveal for these.
But without a screen there will be insects to some degree.
The Centor just makes the screen these intrusive.

Thanks, they look pretty decent.
Yeah, MJH didnt give the option, only for windows.

Will certainly look into it, cheers.
