Build Basement for car parking - Sydney

Hello all,

I am in planning and budgeting stage for constructing a double storey house in Sydney with basement for car parking.

The basement will have 4 cars parking, media room, games room and a store room.

I would like to understand if someone has recently gone through or going through building basement.

Interested to know:
- basement size
- materials used - suspended slab, ret wall etc.
- approx. cost

You could be looking at anywhere between $400,000 to $800,000 depending on so many variables including:

1. Site conditions - what material is being excavated
2. Engineering design - does the engineer want contiguous piles with capping beams and shot crete along each boundary to retain the neighbours property? if so this could be $250-300,000 on it's own ( recently been out to trade pricing on a job and this is the lower end of the quotes)
3. What is the hydraulic engineer's design like? how is stormwater water being dealt with
4. Generally the best wall material will Dincel or one of its variables with a concrete slab above
5. What are the internal finishes inside the garage
