It's a high quality product (good vapour permeability and water resistance) and can withstand UV for a long period of time. Pro clima's tapes are known to be one of the better ones on the market, hence why a lot of high performance builders use them. We taped to the bottom and top plates and taped all penetrations. Pro clima also recommend a ventilated cavity on the walls and roof to let any moisture that does get behind the cladding to dry out. Our builder used 35mm battens for this. Have heard Bradford Enviroseal proctor wrap is also a good product. I think it's wise to use vapour permeable (class 4) for most climates (not including tropical) regardless if the code requires it.
