Thanks It's definitely worth it. I did my home and other than helping with noise transfer the home is just warmer and more comfortable on those colder days. The materials from Bunnings for a 400sqm house cost roughly $900-1,000 and it is something you can do yourself. You want a professional to do all the external walls and ceiling so you can get your BASIX compliance certificate but internally you can definitely do it yourself. One of my clients just did his own to save money. It took around 2 days. If you can't be bothered you can even hire a labourer for a day and it will still be cheaper. Then you can have your insulation and your stone!! Just it on a saturday/sunday and you will be sweet. If you need any advice on how to do it you know where to find me.
