I have about 40m worth of barrier and 2-3 on the nature strip. My builder quoted $1800.00 and ATF quoted for $2100 for a 24 mth rent. Hoping to find a cheaper alternative. TIA I am 98% sure that orange stuff is not allowed. But you can check with your local council as it is their rangers who will give you grief. Normal practice is that you need to protect the trunk first of all. Wrap it with something soft like the white sediment barrier you get from bunnings. Then vertical timbers around the truck held in place with wire or speed bracing. Once you have done that you can fence the TPZ area off with stakes and metal fence mesh This wont cost anywhere near $1800. If you need me to explain more call me, happy to help Cheers Simeon Thanks Simeon, Would you have a some contacts so i can get a quote? It is so easy to do yourself. Even if you are not very handy. You literally only need a few basic things from bunnings. Honestly even with the most basic skills I know you can succeed!.
