Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 10, 2024 2:26 am Hey guys Just wondering if it's possible to get a display home built almost the same way as it is in the display village, I'm specifically thinking of Coral Homes Highlands 36 in the Lodge Façade. On the website there seems to be no 36 available, the closest is the 306 and that one in the lodge facade does not have the same stonework or wood surrounding the front door plus the garage is on the left side. I want the garage to replace the doors seen on the right side of the display home. Is it possible to get the same stonework and wood as the display home in a built home? Re: Is it possible to get the Coral Homes Highlands 36 home? 2Apr 14, 2024 10:39 pm In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask them for it. We are Expert Consultant's, and we are here to help. Re: Is it possible to get the Coral Homes Highlands 36 home? 3Jul 18, 2024 1:37 pm Did you find the answers you were looking for? We have been out to the display home & the stone facade on the front & internally around the fireplace is not provided by Coral. Regarding the internal stonework they are a little shy about attaching it to basically paper ie: the plasterboard wall, especially as it is also quite tall. it's an aftermarket thing you will have to look into & it will be expensive. I had some done on a previous property, 2 outside pillars & internally the TV wall & 2 short walls. The bill just for the labour was 4k & the guy said later he underquoted (several corners to deal with on that one) AND then you have the costs of the material itself, also expensive. Don't forget, if you go for the plinth around the 2 outside support beams, they have stone facade on the display home too (the display home at Everleigh Estate in Brisbane) Flipping the house is no problem, on the plan there's an icon to the right that does it for you. As for the wood as part of the Lodge Facade, this is part of it I think, sorry, the salesman said a lot to us. I'd have to check my notes again but either way the Lodge facade is 23k and change. We are considering the 306Q or the 338Q Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 16209 You can wash over existing pavers with 10% solution of water and hydrochloric acid, then wash off. The acid will provide for required bond key with new concrete. 1 39097 0 13390 |
