Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 03, 2008 2:45 pm HI everyone, we are in the process of building Wisdoms Aspiration35MK11. There are no displays of this house, a smaller version with the Aspiration 32 is at Minto but the 35 is slightly different downstairs toilet/laundry layout and also the kitchen is different. Was just wondering if there was anyone out there that has built the 35 and could post some photos for us to look at, in particular the kitchen in the corner area.... Re: The Aspiration 35MKII 2Nov 03, 2008 3:49 pm I haven't seen one built - but very nice house! I haven't seen the display out at Minto yet - or Elderslie but it's on my "to do" list
Make sure you get the niches in the shower are you worried about the corner between the stove and the pantry? Or the sink? After 4 years - we're in! Re: The Aspiration 35MKII 3Nov 03, 2008 4:30 pm The sink is the same as the 32, but the 35 has cupboard space in the corner where the 32 has the door to the laundry. So just wondering the set up of the cupboards, and where the microwave spot would be. When we went yesterday to arrange fixed price contract they said they didnt have any being built to show us or any photos.. so guessing later on I will just have to sit down with someone to go through the smaller details.. just though someone on here might have same pics.
Yeah we have gone that extra package that has the shower niches. We orginially saw the 38 of yours and loved it, but bit out of our price range so went down to 35. Re: The Aspiration 35MKII 4Nov 03, 2008 6:38 pm I'd be likely to put the microwave in that corner on the bench (I'm not a fan of appliance cupboards like in the Impression at the Ponds) After 4 years - we're in! Re: The Aspiration 35MKII 5Nov 03, 2008 6:55 pm The Aspiration is a nice layout. We looked at it, but it was too long for our plot. Which facade have you chosen? C&G -------------------------------- A new building chapter begins.. Re: The Aspiration 35MKII 7Nov 04, 2008 9:35 am stonecutter1309 I'd be likely to put the microwave in that corner on the bench (I'm not a fan of appliance cupboards like in the Impression at the Ponds) id like a particular area to fit it into, not just on the bench.. bit like the aspiration 32 has. Re: The Aspiration 35MKII 8Nov 04, 2008 10:27 am Hi, we've built with Wisdom and you get a complete set of drawings for the kitchen which you have to sign off and approve. This gives you the opportunity to change cupboards, add appliance cupboard or add cupboards etc. So you'll definately get a say in how you want your kitchen to look and where you want your microwave etc. Some changes will cost you in variances though $$$.
I've seen the Aspiration at Minto - nice house Re: The Aspiration 35MKII 9Nov 04, 2008 12:52 pm I saw the aspiration 32 in Minto. Quite a nice home. We were also deciding to build either the impression 38 or upsize the aspiration 35 to an aspiration 37. In fact the aspiration is my second choice so heh heh might have 2 aspirations on the same street.
Do you know when you will receive your tender? I was told 1 - 1 1/2 week with Casaview Re: The Aspiration 35MKII 10Nov 04, 2008 5:13 pm ZZZ I saw the aspiration 32 in Minto. Quite a nice home. I was told 1 - 1 1/2 week with Casaview Hi, the 38 is lovely we just thought it had too many living rooms! I didnt realise there was a aspiration 37, haven't come across it. As long as our facades are different its all good! Saw Wisdom on Sunday, they said about 2 weeks for fixed contract. Re: The Aspiration 35MKII 11Nov 04, 2008 7:25 pm No they dont have a 37, but i thought i would just add extra squares to make it a 37. Re: The Aspiration 35MKII 12Nov 06, 2008 4:38 pm ZZZ No they dont have a 37, but i thought i would just add extra squares to make it a 37. Ah was wondering how you were going to do it! I just went back to there website to make sure I hadnt over looked something.. ITs a very hard decision to make, we have been looking at building for over and year and in that time looked at sooo many display houses, but always came back to ours. We've got a house separating us so we wont look too bad! hope you are all well xoxo Re: The Aspiration 35MKII 13Nov 07, 2008 7:18 am MKTodd ZZZ No they dont have a 37, but i thought i would just add extra squares to make it a 37. I really don't like laundries that come off the kitchen, waste of potential bench and storage space We went and had a look at the Minto display last weekend but didn't get a chance to head down to Elderslie. In terms of where you want to put the microwave, I'd suggest maybe if you have storage across from the pantry to the corner, maybe get a little appliance cupboard in the corner for the microwave, a bit like in the Impression 38 / Providence displays (although it won't look the same due to the pantry being further away). Which release in The Ponds did you buy in? I'll be interested to keep track of the different Wisdom builds in the area. We actually went up to the Mt Annan (soon to be Elderslie) displays last week and one of the kitchens there had exactly what we were after with the microwave etc.. so took a photo of it, but they should know when we mention it to them (dont have the name of the display house on me atm).. I agree with the laundry entry, the 22 takes away too much space in the kitchen.. wouldnt leave you with enough room. We brought in the recent Iris release on Bather Street.. where is your land? Re: The Aspiration 35MKII 15Nov 11, 2008 9:25 am MKTodd We brought in the recent Iris release on Bather Street.. where is your land? I'm on the Lotus 4 release on Pebble Cres, facing the park land. Already been back to my vacant block about five times in the last week and a bit hehe Just sent the contract and cheque to Landcom today so it looks like we're a day away from officially exchanged. I keep forgetting to take a camera / ask if it's ok to take photos. I just always wondered because every time I asked for photos I got the run around and never ended up seeing any!
