Construction has began for our new home but builder hasn't shared Structural Drawings with us.

Should we be knowing Structural Drawings?

Yes absolutely, Your builder is merely your agent in relation to the building permit, it belongs to you.

Thanks mate, Also what do we make out of plan. Don't know much about the structural plan.

That is why you should hire your private inspector to walk you through and keep an eye on your build

Your builder does not have a say in it. If you are in Victoria you have a statutory right, and if the builder prevents you the you can report to VBA for breach of professional standards.

In NSW your Certifier will have a copy, and the Certifier works for you not the builder. They are your representative so just contact them and ask for a copy.

And technically, they should be included in the building contract to form part of the package of drawings your builder is working too.
