Your builder does not have a say in it. If you are in Victoria you have a statutory right, and if the builder prevents you the you can report to VBA for breach of professional standards. Not sure how to handle it. Peter In NSW your Certifier will have a copy, and the Certifier works for you not the builder. They are your representative so just contact them and ask for a copy. And technically, they should be included in the building contract to form part of the package of drawings your builder is working too.
