Acrylic garage doors? Anyone?

I saw this cool garage door but it’s in acrylic and doesn’t support putting thermal insulation on it.

Wanted to know pros and cons of it , if anyone has used it?

Neighbours have one. Gets direct afternoon sun and discoloured badly. Also can't insulate them so it's basically like having a tinted window in your garage. Not overly practical

It's a classic example of aesthetics subjugating function where style usurps precedence over practicality.
