DA vs CDC (Approval Times) in Ku-ring-gai Council?

Hi all,

Anyone have experience/knowledge on how long usually either the DA or CDC process it takes for building a new home in the Ku-ring-gai Council area? (Area's such as St Ives, Pymble, Gordon, Kilara)?

Thanks in Advance

Hi Minho

I have heaps of experience in Ku-ring-gai with both DAs and CDC ( this is the main area we build in).

DA's are taking 12-18months and CDC's we have been doing in 2-3 months.

If you can get your approval via CDC I would highly recommend it.

Council is incredibly slow, pedantic and their approval conditions are onerous.

All the best
