This plate is part of garage door frame , there is one on each side

After the brickies did their job, one of the plates completely sits on the Pillar, while the other one is not completely sitting, and has like 5mm of gap,
The screws that you see in the above picture are completely submerged inside the pillar though
The question is, will this small gap between the plate and pillar have an impact on the structural integrity?
