Civil engineer for driveway move in Ryde Council

Good evening all,

we are in the process of a knockdown and rebuild in Ryde Council.

As a part of this, we are looking at moving the previous driveway to enable a direct access from street to the garage, which requires gutter access moving and council approval is required for this. Council have advised that we require civil engineers plans to be submitted as a part of our application.

Is anyone able to advise on the estimated costs for a civil engineer to draft these plans? Just trying to get an idea of what is a usual price for this.

Depending on the complexity I would expect to pay between $1,000-1,500 at the top end. Sometimes we have even paid under $1000.

Then in Ryde you have their fees.
