This may at times come at a nominal or a significant cost. Ive had builders extend plans for me thereby increasing their overall price and material costs for the build, no questions asked. The same should be doable in reverse. 1.5m easements on both sides of the block sounds like a nightmare though. hope you got a good deal. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder should be able to accomodate reduction in size as a variation to their plan.
