Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 27, 2023 6:30 pm We used a PGH brick for our new build in NSW. It has a slurried face & we selected off white mortar. I've attached a pic of before cleaning (when they looked great) and post cleaning. The bricks appear stripped of the facing and mortar appears yellow and sandy (can't get on site yet to touch). Not pictured, some sill bricks under windows have fine cracks in the mortar. Can anyone confirm the problem and that I'm within my rights to ask for some sort of rectification? I've seen some brick experts here - what are the best options for remediation I can propose (other than rebricking)?
