Also what is the rate going on for Fencing? can anyone refer some company/tradie for the fencing job? I drove past the central park and was very happy to see some good progress. Re: The Avenue at Casey 813Jun 07, 2011 9:07 am Watch out anyone building with PD..... We have moved into our place with out the TV point that was included in the house... we have been waiting for over 2 mths for them to come back and install the included point that was marked clearly on the plans when first given to us.... they have just come back to us stating the following: You did not select the TV point to be installed in this position at your Electrical Selection, therefore we have not installed it. If you would now like to have one installed you will have to get an electrician to install this for you So basically we forfeit the right to have something included in our house because the lady at the electrical stage did not question it?? we were happy with the position of the TV point therefore did not raise the issue!!! SO NOT HAPPY WITH PD YET AGAIN.....EVERYONE BEWARE THAT THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF EVERY CHANCE THEY CAN!!!!! Re: The Avenue at Casey 814Jun 07, 2011 2:31 pm Sorry to hear that Lexie. We had a similar situation where something that was standard when we signed, and included on the plans initially, was removed in later plans without telling us. Luckily for us we picked it up during the build and while it took some fighting, we eventually had it reinstated at no cost. Have you got the original plans, and any correspondence indicating that they would come back and fix it? Re: The Avenue at Casey 815Jun 07, 2011 6:00 pm Yes we have the plans that indicate the standard point we have sent them through. They refuse to send to us the proof that the point has been credited. Which shows that they have something to hide and want to palm us off. They are saying that they can no longer help us we need to wait for claipsal (how ever u spell the company ) to call us with the break down. I think we will go to the building tribunal for his one! Are you in yet? What lot number are you again? There is a house that lOoks like our house that we can see from our door Re: The Avenue at Casey 817Jun 16, 2011 2:39 pm We just got our driveway done... The guy was from Rosebud and was happy to come up and install ours. We got coloured concrete for $60 m2. He has done an amazing job and put a great looking curve in it so that we can fit two cars up to the garage. Got it all done in a day too! All I had to do was grab a bobcat from over the road who was cleaning a block and he was happy to excavate for me for a cashie. Only $150. Re: The Avenue at Casey 819Jun 17, 2011 7:11 pm Hi guys, I drove past my block last night on Chantenay Parade to find that someone has dumped a heap of concrete and soil right on my driveway! There were also deep tyre-tread marks on the front end of my block and some strange circular ditches next to the tread marks. Needless to say, I was none too happy about someone using my future homesite as a tip. Does anyone know who I can contact to help me get this sorted out? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks! Re: The Avenue at Casey 820Jun 20, 2011 8:44 am Hi guys, Does anyone know what the deal is with splitting the fencing costs? we have one block beside us & one of the two behind us back on the market. I'll be stuffed if I want to provide someone with a free fence when everything else costs a fortune. Thoughts? Ideas? suggestions?
