Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 30, 2023 7:01 pm Hi, does anyone have a clue how the Brisbane Development website work in terms of how uptodate the dates on it are (developmenti.brisbane.qld.gov.au). I transfered first stage payment to the builder on 15 of may, he said the certifier lodging all the plans now with the bne council. I was waiting for a week and no application was shown lodged on the BNE Development site. Asked the builder what's wrong, he said it takes 2 week to appear on the website. Well I waited 2 weeks and it appeared there, no problem. Even tho it says that documents were submitted 29 of may in that application? Later in the application I seen that the certifer lodged the wrong application and had to withdraw current one to relodge a new one. 21 days now passed since application was withdrawn and I don't see any new application on the Council website. Contacted the builder, he said he lodged it on 26 of june. Couple of questions here: - Does the BNE council website show the actual date the application was lodged? - How long should it take a certifier to lodge the docs after he got the "go ahead" to do so ( especially when they had all the plans ready to go before the "go ahead" ) I don't want to be a pain in the butt to the builder. But at the same time I been waiting for 6 weeks now since I transferred first instalment and I still don't see any valid application lodged with the council and I have no idea if it's normal or not.
