We are thinking of building duplex as our land is wide enough. We are not looking at subdivision or sell one of them at the moment. We will probably rent one out and live in one. Below are some thoughts:
Good:
Nice rental income.
Less mortgage pressure
Bad:
Can not subdivide or sell one, unless sell both
Potential less interested buyers if comes to sale
Has anyone done this before? Keen to hear opinions.
