Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 08, 2023 2:31 pm Hi guys, We started a build 18 months ago on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. The contracted completion date was supposed to be in November, 2022 (6 months ago) and we're still not finished unfortunately. When we handed the site to the builder at the commencement of the build, the block was clean and clear of any rubbish, weeds etc. but during the long build time, the block has been inundated with lots of large weeds (some over a metre tall). Whose responsibility is it to ensure that the weeds are cleared from site before handover? Re: Weeds on building site - whose responsibility? 3May 15, 2023 7:49 am I agree with @Ikitto, yet, if it's out of control, then maybe it's worth tackling it as a team. It could also show the business ethics and values you hold toward building and handing over to a client. It takes half your life before you discover life is a do-it-yourself project. - Napoleon Hill Re: Weeds on building site - whose responsibility? 4May 15, 2023 2:10 pm the site needed to be clear for them to be able to build.
