Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 25, 2023 8:19 pm Hi peoples of Homeone 👋 We’re going through the initial stage with Metricon to build a duxton 39 We’ve had them include recessing the 300 series corner butt stacker doors of the alfresco area 2 things have come to mind 1 - they’ve specified “provide slab rebate (up to 35mm deep). Will this be deep enough to have that seamless flow through finish? We’ll have a 5mm vinyl flooring so as long as the stacker’s track dimension is no higher than 40mm it should work. Or will it just reduce the track’s protrusion so to speak 2 - will the stacker then sit 35mm lower than the windows around it? Or can we ask M to lower the 2 windows on either side to match the height of the stackers Thanks in advance 😁 Re: Recessed stacker doors 2May 17, 2023 10:23 pm Stuey Hi peoples of Homeone 👋 We’re going through the initial stage with Metricon to build a duxton 39 We’ve had them include recessing the 300 series corner butt stacker doors of the alfresco area 2 things have come to mind 1 - they’ve specified “provide slab rebate (up to 35mm deep). You could recess the windows (just keep in mind the thickness of the frame and your rebate); decrease the actual height of the windows; increase the height of the sliding door by the rebate. What do you need them to withstand? If it's normal wear and tear, then either will do, if you want resistance to ingress then laminated would be the favourite, but only… 1 12659 Sure looks like the type of track that I fitted to my house. My supplier said that the underside has a tray which drains to the front. They cut vertical slots in it. So as… 6 8129 We are looking for sliding doors which are 5 metres tall.
