Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 07, 2023 10:26 am Hi all, we are doing a knockdown rebuild on the Sunshine Coast with Plantation Homes. We put our first deposit down in March 2022 and after many delays (mostLy caused by them not us), we handed them a bare block with no house 4 weeks ago. We’ve contacted them since and have been told new soil samples and land surveys have since been done it now needs a final variation and estimation. Has anyone been in a similar position and how long did it take you to get to actual work on the ground? We are getting frustrated as we told them we didn’t want to knock down until they were ready to start building….now 6 weeks later no progress! Thanks for your any advice 😊 Re: Building with Plantation homes - start time? 2Jan 01, 2024 9:15 am I’m curious about how you went with this. We are planning a KDRB and considering Plantation Homes as a builder. I’m aware that after the demolition another soil test is required but wasn’t aware more surveys would be needed? How did you go and how has it been since April? Can anyone give me any onfo on New Homes WA? Good or bad, hopefully good just need to know if my choice was good or not? Thanks ❤️ 0 8983 9 24861 1 13154 |
