Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 02, 2022 2:28 pm Hey All, I'm new to this forum and just taking some baby steps to build my house in Woodlea. My lot is about to get settled in a months time and just exploring different builders. How much to expect in terms of site cost, mine is a 375sqm block with a bal19 rating. What to expect from builders and what to ask from them in terms of site cost, it should be a fixed upfront site cost so that later on there cannot be any additions. Is my understanding correct, request your experience in Woodlea on site cost based on above queries. Also, any feedback on PD,Carlisle,Boutique - are they good in terms of quality of work, pricing, transparency, timeliness etc. Re: Woodlea - New Home - SiteCost 2Nov 02, 2022 2:37 pm you'd need to know the soil type classification for your lot to find out what the site costs might be. so a test would need to be conducted, unless it's already been done by whoever sold you the lot, and you have access to the report.
